If you’ve never been to us before, you might not know quite what’s in store. The following guide explains what typically happens before, during and after your massage treatment, and what else you can expect from your special day.

Before you arrive to Health in Hands Spa.

If you are driving to our location we would like to let you know that there is street meter parking all around the building.

We are located on the corner of Washington and 14th Street, same building and entrance as for Dr. Frio Chiropractor. The main entrance is on Washington Street. As soon as you enter the building make a right to the stairs going up leading to the 2nd floor.

What happens when I arrive at the spa?

We ask that you arrive 10 to 15 min prior to the scheduled start time of your appointment and have a seat in the waiting area. Once it gets closer to your appointment time your therapist will greet you and check you in. We would like to inform you that there is no receptionist on site, but rest assured we are here for you and you can always give us a call at 201.701.1772 for any urgent matters.

Once you meet your therapist she will take you to your treatment room and go over the pressure you prefer and any special concerns.

A massage should make you feel good and communication with your therapist is key. You can tell your therapist before and during your massage that you’d like more or less pressure, what areas you’d like to target, what might be causing you discomfort, and more. Your feedback will help them deliver the best experience possible.
